Not fishing? Then we recommend that you take a tour of the property extending from the lodge to the Buller River some 13 Kilometers away.

You can spend over 3 hours on a scenic, easy paced ride or a little quicker depending on your time and ability.

There are 3 trips available covering these distances:

Travelling over this purpose built track will take the rider around a working farm where one can see deer, cattle, sheep and other wildlife. You might even want to take a rod and have a cast or two in the Buller River or as you travel alongside the Gowan River on your return.

The track takes you through forest plantations and across small streams from low lying areas to mountain views. Bringing your camera is a must. For those with more time we can arrange a packed lunch to enjoy along the way.

Bikes are best suitable for riders over the age of 16 and we provide safety helmets, protective eyewear and the leader is in communication with Lodge throughout. Rides are available most days.
